Streamline Swims at Brockwell Lido

First Brockwell V Parliament Hill Lido Gala 2017 – History in the Making

We’ve been making a splash at Brockwell Lido since 2008, promoting community engagement and participation in swimming by teaching and coaching swimmers of all ages and abilities. Our commitment is driven by a passion for swimming and the health and well-being of our diverse local community.

Programmes and Initiatives:

  • Delivering high quality inclusive 1-2-1 swim lessons and group fitness and technique sessions since 2008 to swimmers of all abilities and ages from 8 to 80.
  • Building a hugely popular ‘Swim Club’ community, 75% of whom are women over 35, a previously underrepresented group in sport and fitness.
  • Devising and delivering a subsidised educational Art and Swim programme for local schools for over a decade, impacting up to 600 children annually. Nurturing creative skills and teaching basic swim techniques and water safety – resuming in 2024
